Our photography journey and our love story began all at the same time. The first time we shot together was at an orphanage in a small city of Belarus; this was our first missionary trip together. I came up with the idea to do a portrait session for all the kids at the orphanage (since they don't get to capture many childhood memories there) and asked Lena to assist me. It was our first time working side by side in a photography field, and we clicked right away. That’s also when we first felt those butterflies in our stomachs for each other. I fell so in love with her, and a few months later, I asked Lena to be not only my business partner but my girlfriend. We shot our first wedding together in May of 2015, and since then, there was not a single session that I did without her by my side. Her fun and easy-going personality always makes our clients feel relaxed and comfortable being in front of the camera. She brings so much positive energy, and her creativity has no limits.
We had our own wedding in January of 2016, and since then, photography has been our greatest passion. It is so inspiring to capture people deeply in love with each other and can’t hide it! Every couple is different and beautiful in their own unique way. For us, it is so important to be able to connect with our clients, to understand their vision for their wedding day, and make sure not a single detail is left undocumented. There’s no better feeling than picking up our cameras to document those tears of joy, laughter, smiles, hugs, and dancing.
Together, we had so many adventures around the world. Our camera always traveled with us; we called it our baby (that’s before we really knew what it’s like traveling with a baby, haha). Connecting with other cultures, trying different foods, and learning something new about each city helped us become more creative and appreciate the beauty in every little detail.
Currently, we are enjoying our latest adventure, being parents to our sweet daughter Sara and handsome son Mark. Having our own kids made us fall in love with family photography. We now love the challenge of capturing those active toddlers, shy and sometimes stubborn teenagers, and always busy-on-the-phone dads. But nothing makes us happier than receiving reviews like these from moms who want perfect family pictures.
